Renfield is the next Nicolas Cage film to be released
R.M. Renfield (Nicholas Hoult) decides to leave his age-old job as Count Dracula's (Nicolas Cage) henchman and familiar, and finds a new lease on life in modern-day New Orleans when he falls in love with Rebecca Quincy (Awkwafina), a feisty but still aggressive traffic cop.
The on-sale date for tickets to the film was recently revealed. According to Showcase Cinemas, tickets for 'Renfield' will go on sale on March 22.

The Overlook Film Festival has unveiled the full lineup for its 2023 edition, which will take place in New Orleans March 30-April 2, naming Universal's world premiere horror comedy Renfield as the opening film and Warner Bros' Evil Dead Rise as the closing film.
The former, which stars Nicholas Hoult (The Menu) as Dracula's (Nicolas Cage) tortured henchman, will be screened in a live Q&A with Cage and director Chris McKay, as well as at the opening night Vampire Ball, before its April 14 theatrical release.

The latest film, the last in Sam Raimi's acclaimed horror franchise, arrives at the famed horror festival after its world premiere at SXSW. Lee Cronin directed the film from his script, with Lily Sullivan, Alyssa Sutherland, Morgan Davies, Gabrielle Echols and Nell Fisher among the cast.
This year's Overlook programming includes 26 features and 24 shorts from 12 countries, as well as interactive events, live performances, immersive programming and more. Philip Barantini's Accused, Alexis Jacknow's Clock, Philip Barantini's Godless: The Eastfield Exorcism, Ariel Vida's Trim Season, and Anthony Penta's We Kill for Love will have their world premieres at the festival, alongside Renfield. Matinee's John Goodman and Joe Dante, and Only Lovers Left Alive collaborators Jim Jarmusch and Carter Logan will be among those in attendance.

The Overlook Film Festival is programmed by co-founders Landon Zakheim and Michael Lerman, Artistic Director Jones, Programming Manager Keith Garcia, Short Film Programming Manager Katie Rife and Immersive Film Curator Bryan Bishop.
